About Mobility Worldwide Ohio
A small team of volunteers in Northeast Ohio building independence for people around the world, one cart at a time.
Our StoryMobility Worldwide Ohio was founded as an affiliate of Mobility Worldwide, a national nonprofit dedicated to building hand-powered, all-terrain Mobility Carts for people in developing countries who are unable to walk. Operating out of our workshop at 1445 Commerce Dr. in Stow, Ohio, our volunteer team builds approximately 350 carts per year.
|
The CartEach Mobility Cart is a hand-cranked, all-terrain device designed specifically for unpaved roads and rugged conditions. Built from durable, locally sourced materials at a cost of just $400, every cart is engineered to give a person independence, dignity, and access to the things most of us take for granted: school, work, church, and medical care.
|
The MissionOur carts are distributed through international partners to communities in need across Africa, Asia, and Central America. For someone who has spent their life crawling or being carried, a Mobility Cart is not just transportation. It is freedom.
